GS Family Get Together X Raya 2023

The Good Society gathered to celebrate the GS Eid Feast and Family Get-Together. This annual event brings together all members of our GS IIUM family. With Eid al-Fitr around the corner, this year’s event combined the joyous celebration of Eid with our traditional family gathering. The GS family had a blast strengthening our bonds by playing fun games and enjoying delicious Raya delicacies together.

A family get-together is an important event that brings family members together to strengthen their bonds and create lasting memories. It is an opportunity to promote values such as love, compassion, and kindness, which are crucial for building strong relationships among the Good Society members. At the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), the Family Get Together is a significant event for many families around the world. It’s an opportunity to strengthen family bonds, promote values such as love, compassion, and kindness, and create lasting memories. As part of their commitment to creating a positive and supportive family environment, many families organise various activities and events during their get-togethers.

During the event, GS members and advisors gathered, creating an atmosphere of togetherness and community. The opening remarks, dua recitation, and speech from the GS advisor emphasised the importance of unity and fostering strong bonds within the organization. The briefing and introduction of the Good Society provided an opportunity for members to share their experiences and stories, further strengthening their bond. This enhanced sense of community and belonging within the organization promotes better collaboration and cooperation among members. The briefing on Member’s Empowerment Profiles conducted by the HR team empowered the members by providing them with valuable insights and tools to develop themselves personally and professionally. Introducing GS members from respective management and head divisions highlighted the diverse talents and contributions within the organization, fostering a sense of appreciation and respect for one another. The module and bonding games facilitated interaction and teamwork among members, further strengthening their bond and fostering a sense of camaraderie.
