On June 1st, 2023, Empowher, the Women’s Division of The Good Society, conducted a Menstrual Awareness Campaign in collaboration with the PSYCSTA IIUM and the SOFI IIUM that was held at HS Square, IIUM.
The honourable speaker, Dr Fatimah Alzahrah was invited to deliver talk on Menstrual Awareness. There was an advocate of Peduli Merah, dedicated to addressing period poverty.
The initiative focused on educating and spreading awareness on menstrual-related issues. Breaking the stigma surrounding menstruation and promoting menstrual health were the primary objectives of the program.
