Welcome to IIUM Esports Club.

We are here to make a positive community around gaming and esports while also assisting players to reach their goals in tournaments and events. We are founded in 2015, and since then we have held so many internal tournaments and events within IIUM community while also competing in national level in esports games throughout their years as IIUM representatives. We also have made community around esports and gaming, reaching hundreds of members each year. We also made a place for those games to grow in its place by making specific group chats for specific games while the effort also support those student with niche interest in some underrated games in Malaysia.

Some of the games we’ve covered in the past include:

1) FIFA
  • Several FIFA tournaments and games with cash prizes or chances to represent the university in university to state level events and tournaments.
2) Mobile Legends
  • One of our most requested games for a long time and the most popular.
  • Most of our ML tournaments always receive good participation by the IIUM community
  • Tournament prizes are given from Moonton themselves.
3) PUBG Mobile
  • One of our longest standing games we’ve made events for.
  • Most teams who participate can range from a team full of brothers or sisters or even mixed.
  • Many players that we’ve sent to participate in higher level tournaments have been successful
4) Valorant
  • A more recent game that has received good support and popularity within the community of gamers in IIUM.
  • For players looking for groups or teams to play with, we have a Whatsapp group of players to network with.
 5) Dota 2
  • Dota 2 teams that we have sent to participate in higher level tournaments like MASUM never failed to impress us with their consistent performance that brings home the victory without fail
  • By far Dota 2 has the most number of players within IIUM, with League of Legends at a close second.
  • Often we have difficulty setting up physical Dota 2 tournaments from lack of hardware but now with everything online, players can join in on their own PCs.
