The Academic Staff Association (ASA IIUM) has organized a successful meet & greet session aimed at increasing awareness on ASA function as the voice of academic staff to  IIUM management, benefits as ASA member and to know more on academic community requirements and needs at Kuantan campus. The event was hosted by ASA Kuantan Campus representatives Dr. Norlinda (KON) and Dr Izzat (KOP). ASA President, Dr Adli together with Assist. Secretary, Mdm Mizan and Gombak Representative , Dr. Aniza attended the event. The event has  brought together academic staff from various departments in Kuantan, creating an inclusive environment for networking and idea-sharing. Approximately 10  faculty  members attended the session, representing a diverse range of disciplines. The turnout exceeded expectations, indicating a strong interest in the event.

The atmosphere was relaxed, encouraging open dialogue. Dr. Adli shared insights on what is ASA, ASA benefits, ASA activities and current academic challenges faced in IIUM. Attendees were encouraged to share feedback on current association initiatives and propose ideas for future events and programs. This input will be invaluable in shaping the direction of the association.Light refreshments were provided, adding to the welcoming atmosphere and encouraging informal conversations. The meet & greet session of the Academic Staff Association was a valuable event that effectively fostered connections among faculty members. The positive feedback received highlights the need for ongoing opportunities for collaboration and community-building within the academic staff.
